THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT THE BASIS ON WHICH HARLEY STREET ELITE CLINIC LTD, TRADING AS HARLEY STREET ELITE ACADEMY, OF 2 & 20 HARLEY STREET, LONDON, W1G 9PA, PROVIDES TRAINING SERVICES TO DELEGATES. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING ANY TRAINING COURSE.
Full or partial payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure a place on a Harley Street Elite Academy training course.
By making a booking, the delegate confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Harley Street Elite Academy does not store credit or debit card details. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
A certificate confirming successful completion of the relevant training course will be issued to delegates who successfully complete the required elements of the course.
There may be different trainers across individual courses in order to provide variety, specialist expertise and depth across both theory and practical training.
A £300 holding deposit is required to secure a delegate's place on a training course and reserve the chosen training date.
The deposit forms part of the delegate's course booking and cannot be transferred or redeemed against treatments, products or unrelated services.
The remaining balance of the course fee must be paid in full at least 7 days before the scheduled training date.
Subject always to any statutory cancellation rights that may apply, the booking deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and Harley Street Elite Academy has begun allocating resources to the booking, including course administration, preparation, training materials, facilities, trainers and/or models.
Following a booking, delegates may be provided with course preparation materials, study materials, presentations, photographs, videos, written teaching content, treatment information, techniques and other educational or proprietary materials relating to the training course.
These materials are supplied solely for the delegate's personal preparation, participation in and private study relating to the Harley Street Elite Academy course for which they have booked.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights in course materials supplied by Harley Street Elite Academy remain the property of Harley Street Elite Academy, Harley Street Elite Clinic Ltd and/or the relevant rights holder.
Except where permitted by law or where prior written permission has been obtained, delegates must not:
Delegates must also keep confidential any non-public proprietary training material that is identified as confidential or which would reasonably be understood to be confidential.
The provision of course preparation materials, together with administrative and preparatory work undertaken following a booking, forms part of the services and resources committed by Harley Street Elite Academy to that booking.
Unauthorised copying, publication, distribution or other use of protected materials may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights. Harley Street Elite Academy reserves all rights and remedies available to it in respect of unauthorised use of its intellectual property.
The following cancellation terms apply subject to any statutory rights which a delegate may have under applicable consumer law.
Upon confirmation of a booking, 50% of the total course fee will be treated as non-refundable, inclusive of any booking deposit already paid.
This reflects the resources committed to the booking, which may include course administration, preparation, study materials, trainer availability, clinic facilities and arrangements for practical training and models.
If a delegate cancels their booking less than one month before the scheduled course date, the full course fee will be non-refundable, subject to applicable consumer law.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Where applicable law requires Harley Street Elite Academy to provide a full or partial refund, or prevents a particular cancellation charge from being applied, the relevant statutory rights will take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.
A minimum of one month's written notice is required to request a change to a course booking or training date.
Harley Street Elite Academy is unable to reschedule or move a training course booking where the request is made within one month of the scheduled course date.
Delegates may reschedule an existing course booking a maximum of one time only.
If a delegate requests to move their training to a new date, a new booking deposit may be required to secure the alternative date.
Where a rescheduling request is made because of serious illness, injury or another significant medical reason, Harley Street Elite Academy may require supporting documentation from a registered GP or other appropriate medical professional.
Harley Street Elite Academy reserves the right to amend a training date, trainer, course location or other reasonable aspect of the course where necessary.
If this occurs, delegates will be contacted as soon as reasonably practicable and, where appropriate, offered an alternative training date.
If Harley Street Elite Academy is unable to provide a course because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government action, significant disruption to transport or infrastructure, illness or other unforeseen circumstances, the Academy may offer an alternative available training date.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory right the delegate may have to a refund where Harley Street Elite Academy cancels or is unable to provide the contracted training service.
Harley Street Elite Academy accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation or other associated costs incurred by delegates except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Training models will normally be provided by Harley Street Elite Academy for educational purposes. Delegates are not ordinarily required to bring their own models.
During practical training, delegates may work collaboratively to review consultation, assessment and treatment planning for each model as part of an interactive learning exercise.
Harley Street Elite Academy will use reasonable endeavours to provide suitable models for relevant practical elements of a course. However, the availability and suitability of individual models cannot be guaranteed for every treatment area, particularly where circumstances change at short notice.
Delegates are expected to arrive at the stated time and participate fully in the required elements of the course.
Delegates arriving late may, where the delay prevents completion of essential training or assessment, be unable to participate in some or all of the course or receive certification.
Harley Street Elite Academy reserves the right to remove a delegate from a course where their behaviour is seriously disruptive, abusive, defamatory, unsafe or otherwise materially detrimental to the delivery of the course, the Academy, its staff, models or other delegates.
Food will normally be provided during the training day.
Delegates must notify Harley Street Elite Academy of any dietary requirements at least one week before the course date. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate notified requirements but cannot guarantee that every requirement can be met.
Delegates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
Except where required by law, Harley Street Elite Academy accepts no liability for travel costs, accommodation expenses or other consequential costs incurred in connection with attendance at a training course.
Course aftercare and ongoing educational support may be provided to delegates following completion of their training.
Harley Street Elite Academy may also provide information or guidance regarding employment opportunities, including through affiliations with aesthetic recruitment agencies.
Harley Street Elite Academy is a training provider and not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee employment, placements, earnings or future business opportunities following completion of a course.
The regulatory and professional requirements applicable to aesthetic practice may change over time.
Harley Street Elite Academy's curriculum may be assessed or recognised by relevant indemnity providers for insurance and indemnity purposes. However, individual delegates remain responsible for ensuring that they satisfy any registration, licensing, insurance, qualification, professional or regulatory requirements applicable to the treatments they intend to provide.
Harley Street Elite Academy cannot guarantee that a course completed today will satisfy every future legislative, regulatory, insurer or professional requirement if applicable standards subsequently change.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies which cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
Where a course is purchased online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, additional statutory cancellation rights may apply. Where applicable, those statutory rights take precedence over any conflicting provision within these Terms and Conditions.
